When we founded Crush'd, it was because we saw a problem in the way people dated in the modern era.
"Dating has changed, but not for the good."
Yes, we have dating apps and everything now and I can hear you say dating has already been changed... But not necessarily for the good.
It was 2020, and the world was - still does - facing the largest pandemic in recent years. We were surrounded by friends going on and on on dates with no happy or significant relationships as a result.
The main cause behind this was both sides were too scared or skeptical about the other being on an app, and the possibility - which is a strong one - that his/her newly met date has a lot of other matches waiting in the queue. As a result, everything felt monotone and regular, like no one was special or felt something special. And people just split apart even if they liked each other. A casual hook-up might be fine if that is what you are looking for, but we believe some people are trying to date someone special out there and the matching app queues work against them.

So what can be done? Crush'd tries to connect people who saw each other in real life and had the spark between them. In the end, how can we argue against millions of years of evolution and the natural way? Good old first impression. But not all are bold enough to speak when they see the spark. So here comes Crush'd!
